Gold plating:
The gilding process applies a thin layer of gold (24k) to less valuable metals such as silver. The gold layer wears off over time and for this reason, gold-plated products are considered less durable compared to gold products.

Rhodium Plating:
Rhodium is an element with the symbol Rh, a silvery white and hard metal. It is one of the rarest and most valuable precious metals. It is resistant to corrosion and does not oxidize. For this reason, white gold is coated with a thin layer of rhodium to give it a shiny, silvery white color. Silver can be rhodium plated to prevent pitting. Since the layer of rhodium that is applied to white gold and silver is very thin, this process needs to be repeated to restore the shine of the product. Rhodium is about eight times more expensive than gold.

Returning jewelry:

Jewelry that is available immediately can be returned free of charge within 14 days after receiving the order. However, jewelry that is made to order cannot be returned.

Clean the jewelry with a clean, damp cloth or microfiber cleaning cloth. Dry clean silver jewelry before storing to prevent tarnishing. For silver jewelry, use a silver polishing cloth for general cleaning. Once your jewelry is clean, store it separately in your jewelry box with the jewelry separated by a soft cloth or jewelry bag. This helps to avoid scratching the jewelry along with other jewelry. In general, prolonged contact with water, such as showering or bathing with your jewelry, should be avoided. Do not expose jewelry to cleaning products or other chemicals such as body lotions, hair sprays, suntan lotions, oils or any other type of product.
